The operatives of the Salama checkpoint, located west of Deir Ezzor city, stopped a number of residents, including women, coming through water crossings from SDF-controlled areas, according to a local reporter of DeirEzzor24.
According to the reporter, they were taken to the worker’s lounge to portray them as having come for reconciliation and to settle their status according to the recent presidential amnesty.
The detainees were released hours after they were photographed and their names were recorded.
