DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:

One billion Syrian pounds were paid for the release of a commander in the National Defense Militia in Deir Ezzor, Ahmed Al-Hadhad, along with a drug dealer. Both were detained for approximately a month before being released by the Assad regime, according to a reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.

It is reported that this substantial sum of money was paid to drop the charges against Al-Hadhad. He is known for being one of the primary drug dealers in the city of Al-Bukamal, located in eastern Deir Ezzor, and is associated with Iranian-backed militias.
