The Criminal Security Department in Deir Ezzor arrested Asaad Al-Kaisum on charges of stealing money and gold jewelry worth 70 million liras, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24.
According to our reporter, Al-Kaysum” is a member of the Political Security Branch, and serves in the Pullman Garage Detachment. He is the brother of “Hamid Al-Kaysum” (Abu Ayed), the commander of the Baath Brigades in Deir Ezzor, and the cousin of the Secretary of the Baath Party branch in Deir Ezzor Governorate, “Raed Al-Ghadhban.”
“Al-Ghadhban” and “Al-Kaisum” families come from the town of Al-Jufra, east of Deir Ezzor, and have a long record of looting,, smuggling and drug trafficking.
