A militia commander of the 47th Regiment, called Abu Issa al-Mashhadani, has vowed to cross into the SDF-controlled areas in Deir Ezzor east of the Euphrates, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24.
According to the reporter, the commander of the IRGC-affiliated milia said that he would cross the Euphrates River to SDF-held territory so as to assist the local population over there, saying that he had already deployed a convoy of several military vehicles near the regiment HQs for this purpose.
Al-Mashhadani heads the militia of the 47th Regiment, which operates under the command of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia in the city of Al-Bukamal and its countryside, east of Deir Ezzor.
