A private source told DeirEzzor 24 Network that militia leaders met yesterday in the security branches in Deir Ezzor to draw up plans to prevent any protest gatherings in the city of Deir Ezzor.

Yesterday, the city of Deir Ezzor witnessed an intense deployment of security and militia patrols in the Al-Joura and Al-Qusour neighborhoods, after calls for demonstrations in the city.

It is noteworthy that the security branches in Deir Ezzor deployed members in civilian clothes in the vicinity of “Al-Halween Roundabout” and in “Al-Wadi” Street in Al-Joura neighborhood, in anticipation of any popular movemen
