A reconciliation was concluded between “Laith Nawaf Al-Bashir,” the commander of a group in the Fourth Division, and “Firas Al-Iraqiya,” the commander of the National Defense Militia in Deir Ezzor, yesterday, against the background of the recent clash between the two parties, according to the correspondent of Deir Ezzor 24 Network.
Our correspondent said that four members of the National Defense Militia were injured in an armed clash with the “Laith al-Bashir” group, due to a dispute over smuggling, a few days ago, at the smuggling crossing of the town of Hawaij in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor.
It is noteworthy that such clashes between militias in Deir Ezzor occur frequently, due to conflicts of interest and disputes over smuggling operations.
