DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Most of the farmers of Deir Ezzor in the areas controlled by the Assad regime have refused to receive wheat bills from the Agricultural Bank due to the reduction in the prices of their crops, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that the Agricultural Bank in Deir Ezzor surprised the majority of Deir Ezzor farmers by preparing invoices for wheat prices that are significantly lower than the price announced by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Assad regime, as its price dropped to 950 pounds per kilo as a result of the Grain Foundation sorting wheat into the lowest grade (fourth model) not exceeding 1400. Lira and the failure of the provincial council to meet the complaints of farmers.
The Ministry of Agriculture set the price of a kilo of wheat at 2,800 SP, in addition to the equivalent of 300 Syrian pounds, before it started manipulating wheat prices.
