The Assad regime’s police command in Deir Ezzor province instructed all its police units to arrest every farmer who did not achieve the required percentage of wheat supply, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that the orders came to arrest every farmer who does not achieve the percentage required of him individually, after comparison with the percentage estimated by the extension units without referring to the harvester production lists.
The provincial council has formed agricultural committees in each village consisting of the head of the extension unit, the head of the agricultural association, the head of the municipality, the secretary of the partisan division and the mukhtar to communicate with the competent authorities and submit security reports with the names of the farmers who are negligent in supplying wheat.
