Yesterday, the Military Security and Military Police set up a number of temporary checkpoints at the entrances to the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, according toa reporter of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that the aim of these checkpoints is to search for those wanted for service and to search mobile phones in search of incriminating conversations or pictures.
These checkpoints coincide with a state of security alert within the ranks of Assad’s forces, after unknown persons crossed out the picture of Bashar al-Assad near the Al-Tayara roundabout in Albukamal two days ago.
