Sugar has been lost from shops in the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, in the past few days, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that a kilo of sugar reached 8,000 SP on the black market, after the forces of the Fourth Division stationed at Tadmur checkpoint prevented sugar trucks from entering Deir Ezzor governorate for unknown reasons.
The checkpoints of the Fourth Division are working to clamp down on merchants and truck drivers to blackmail them and force them to pay royalties.
