DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
After distributing the “urea” fertilizer by the Agricultural Bank in Deir Ezzor, it was found that it was imported from the state of Serbia, contrary to what was expected that it was produced by the Homs plant of the Russian company (Transstroy Gas).
According to a private source for the DeirEzzor24 network correspondent, this fertilizer was imported in the past year 2022 under a contract between the government of the Assad regime and the state of Serbia.
DeirEzzor24 Network had previously published about the system of corruption sweeping the Deir Ezzor Agricultural Bank, which included selling fertilizer to the free market under fake agricultural licenses.
Only 12 kg per dunam was distributed to cooperative societies and irrigation sector investors from influential personalities and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia.
