Two days ago, donation campaigns began were launched in Deir Ezzor for the earthquake victims in the Syrian governorates, offered by people from the militia leaders and loyalists of the Assad regime and the militias.
The campaign started from the commander of the National Defense Militia, “Firas al-Iraqiya”, the representative of the al-Qaterji militia in the region, MP “Madlul al-Aziz”, the businessman “Muhammad al-Askar” and “Mazen al-Ani” and the agent for smuggling smoke from the eastern gate of the country, “Farhan al-Marsoumi”.
The aforementioned people donated more than 400 million Syrian pounds to Latakia, Aleppo and Hama, which will go to the earthquake-affected areas under the control of the Assad regime, and 10 million to the people of Deir Ezzor.
More than 200 martyrs died in Deir Ezzor Governorate, most of them in Jenderes in the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib, and the Turkish states of Kahramanmaraş, Antakya and Urfa.
