DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
DeirEzzor24 correspondent said that the 4th Division of Assad’s forces began collecting out-of-service and discarded oil tanks since the Assad regime took control of the area.
Our correspondent added that these tanks are owned by civilians outside the areas controlled by the Assad regime, and their number exceeds 100, most of which are located in villages near the oil fields.
He stressed that the Fourth Division aims to collect these tanks to repair some of them and benefit from spare parts for others, while the scrap remains go to warehouses.
The Fourth Division in Deir Ezzor is in addition to smuggling operations and royalties at its checkpoints, as it works in the field of scrap collection and exports it to the rest of the provinces.
