Food prices in Deir Ezzor did not witness any decline, despite the decline in the exchange rate of the dollar to approximately 5,700 Syrian pounds.
The correspondent of Deir Ezzor 24 network said that the prices are still fixed and have not been reduced by merchants and wholesale stores, especially the prices of materials (sugar, tea, legumes and detergents of all kinds).
The exchange rate of the dollar began to decline from the ceiling of 7,500 about a week ago to less than 6,000 Syrian pounds, while the exchange rate of the Central Bank was raised to 4,522 Syrian pounds.
