A private source told DeirEzzor24 Network that the security services of the Assad regime instructed its cells in the SDF-controlled areas of Deir Ezzor to intensify their activities in the next phase.

According to the source, “Nawaf al-Bashir” was summoned to a meeting of the Security Committee in Deir Ezzor Governorate, and action points were put in place aimed at isolating the western countryside of Deir Ezzor from SDF control.

The western countryside of Deir Ezzor has been witnessing demonstrations and protests against the Deir Ezzor Military Council, for days, after two girls were killed in mysterious circumstances, and members of the council were accused of being behind their killing.
