A private source told DeirEzzor24 Network that the Secretary of the Baath Party branch in Deir Ezzor, Raed Al-Ghadhban, had kidnapped the tailor, Eid Al-Shalash, from his shop in Al-Qusour neighborhood in Deir Ezzor several days ago.
The sources added that the kidnapping was carried out by members of the Baath Brigades, which are led by the cousin of “Al-Ghadban”, called “Hamid Al-Qaisum Abu Ayed”.
The sources confirmed that “Al-Shalash” was taken to a house in the town of Al-Jafra and his ear was cut off, as revenge for a previous dispute between “Al-Shalash” and a member of the “Al-Ghadban” family.
Ghadhban family, represented by the Secretary of the Baath Party branch, “Raed” and his brother, “Hassan,” a leader in the Fourth Division in the eastern countryside sector, practice various types of looting and arbitrary arrest against the vulnerable people of Deir Ezzor, in addition to drug trafficking, looting and seizing agricultural lands.
