A member of the 17th Division was wounded by gunfire and was subsequently transferred to the military hospital in Deir Ezzor, as a result of a clash with Daesh members two days ago, according to a DeirEzzor24 reporter.
He pointed out that a clash broke out between a point of the 17th Division of Assad’s forces and gunmen on three motorcycles (believed to be affiliated with Daesh), last Wednesday night, in the Al-Bukamal desert, east of Deir Ezzor, resulting in the injury of a member of the 17th Division who was admitted to the military hospital in Deir Ezzor.
Daesh cells are active in the Deir Ezzor desert along the region extending from its western countryside to the Syrian-Iraqi border, east of Deir Ezzor.
