A joint patrol and a group affiliated with the National Defense Militia were injured in an exchange of fire in the Al-Jura neighborhood of Deir Ezzor city, according to the correspondent of the DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that the clash occurred when a joint patrol raided the house of the brother of the leader of the National Defense Militia, “Ahmed al-Lahej”, nicknamed “Kabul”, on charges of shooting and wounding a young man earlier.
Our correspondent added that “Kabul” resisted the patrol with a group of the National Defense Militia, resulting in a clash that resulted in injuries between the two parties.
The patrol withdrew due to the violent resistance of “Kabul” and his companions, and he asked for support from the Defense Militia.
