The price of a pack of tobacco in Deir Ezzor of the well-known “red” national tobacco has reached more than 2,300 SP, exceeding the prices of foreign tobacco, according to the correspondent of Deir Ezzor 24 network.
Our correspondent said that the Syrian trade halls in Deir ez-Zor governorate in general and Al-Bukamal in particular were empty of subsidized al-Hamra cans, after their prices rose dramatically, and they were lost even in shops.
It is worth noting that tobacco smuggling operations are booming in Deir Ezzor due to the control of the Revolutionary Guards militia and the crowd on the smuggling routes, but most of the smuggled goods are marketed to Damascus and coastal cities and are not sold in Deir Ezzor.
