DeirEzzor24 network correspondent said that a first lieutenant criminal security officer blackmails retirees and the elderly by paying a sum of money to bring their role closer to receiving the financial grant disbursed by the Assad regime this month.
Our correspondent added that the officer is in charge of a security patrol in the real estate bank in Deir Ezzor, and set an amount of 30,000 Syrian pounds to be paid by the retired to him, to allow him to reach the employee responsible for handing out the grant without having to stand in line.
The grant amounts to 100 thousand Syrian pounds, while the officer asks for 30 thousand of them, or approximately 30% of its value, in return for only keeping them from standing in the queue.
