The Russian forces honored a person from the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, called “Abdul Aziz Al-Thiab”, for his clear services to the Assad regime and the Russian forces in Deir Ezzor.
Al-Dhiab, nicknamed “the journalist from the village of Mazloum in the district of Khasham in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. He was born in 1965. He served as a member of the Deir Ezzor Governorate Council for several terms, and worked as a media reporter for Al-Thawra newspaper, Al-Furat newspaper, and several websites such as Sada Al-Deir.”
Al-Dhiab obtained membership in the Russian Reconciliation Center, and contributed to the return of hundreds of residents of Deir Ezzor and the settlement of their conditions with the Assad regime, in addition to his contribution to the formation of local groups within the sectarian brigades of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, such as the Al-Baqir Brigade led by “Khaled Al-Mar’i” and the Tribal Brigade that he leads. “Nawaf al-Bashir” and the Village Guard in the countryside of the province.
Al-Dhiab also acts as a mediator in the Russian Reconciliation Center in the town of Hatla, northeast of Deir Ezzor, supervising and coordinating the distribution of aid in the villages of the northern countryside.
He was honored several days ago by the commander of the Russian forces in the northeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, General Mikhail, in the presence of the head of the Deir Ezzor Governorate Council, Dr. Malik Al-Omar.
