DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:

Recently, the trade and smuggling of a substance consisting of oil derivatives, locally called “Al-Kamkha”, has flourished, as it is smuggled from the SDF-controlled areas to the Assad regime-controlled areas in Deir Ezzor, through the Salhiya land crossing, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.

Our correspondent said that the “kamkha” trade has recently rebounded in Deir Ezzor, to the extent that it has become smuggled to areas controlled by the Assad regime, to be transported to other provinces, as several trucks cross daily through the dirt bridge of the Fourth Division to be transported outside Deir Ezzor Governorate. ) The exclusive “Al-Kamkha” contractor and contractor approved by the Assad regime’s smuggling crossings.

He pointed out that its price varies in SDF-controlled areas, where the price of a ton sometimes reaches 200,000 Syrian pounds, and the “kamakha” is transported from Deir Ezzor to the governorates of Hama, Homs, Damascus countryside and the coastal countryside, where it is used to heat poultry farms and greenhouses in the winter by heating with (Sholider). It is also used as a fuel for baking and heating ovens, despite its damage to the respiratory system.

“Kamkha” is a flammable refractory stone, extracted from the remains and deposits of primitive oil burners in the areas of SDF control, and it is assembled and sold to specialized traders.
