Iranian militias and the Fourth Division of Assad’s forces stopped the dirt bridge linking the town of Al-Husseiniya and Deir Ezzor, for an hour, this afternoon, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent stated that the reason for suspending the bridge’s work was the presence of a Russian delegation, accompanied by officers from the Security Committee, to see the conditions of the bridge’s work.
He pointed out that during the visit, trucks coming from the town of Al-Husseiniya gathered through the newly opened Al-Hussainiya-Al-Ji’ah crossing between the SDF-controlled areas and the Assad regime-controlled areas west of Deir Ezzor.
It is noteworthy that the dirt bridge is run by Iranian militias and the Fourth Division of Assad’s forces, and it links the town of Al-Husseiniya and the city of Deir Ezzor, and is used for smuggling
