Recently, there has been a significant drop in hay prices with the advent of the harvest season in the areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that the price of a large bag of hay “shell” in the baydar ranges between 10 to 13 thousand Syrian pounds, while some farmers prefer to sell straw in pieces (without weight), as its price is measured by wheat production, and the price of the hay produced by the wheat bag is estimated at 30 thousand Syrian Pound.
Hay is a fodder material, used as animal feed, and is very popular in the wheat and barley harvest seasons by animal breeders
