DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:

Given the facts imposed by the last ten years in Syria, due to the people’s revolution and their demands for freedom and dignity, and the Assad regime’s handling of these requirements with repression and the power of iron and fire, several phenomena have spread in Deir Ezzor, most notably the political scene, with names with a military background, and the whales of money and its men, who are known as war merchants, whose names have grown through the exploitation of the governorate’s economy and monopoly, who run their affairs in collusion with the oversight, anti-corruption and tax collection agencies.

This translated piece (both AR and EN by DeirEzzor24) sheds lights on some war merchants in Deir Ezzor city.
