The 17th Division strengthens its presence in the desert of Deir Ezzor

The forces of the 17th Division increased their deployment points in the vicinity of the salt mine in the desert of al-Tibni, west of Deir Ezzor, in addition to several points in the vicinity of the town of “Al-Bweitiah” in the western countryside.

These measures come with the aim of protecting the area from the attacks of Daesh cells, as one of the points came under fire this morning.

Dozens of items were installed at the points, along with a number of armored vehicles and four-wheel drive vehicles.
