Today, the Global Coalition and the SDF launched an anti-Daesh security operation in the Busseirah city in the east of Deir Ezzor in order to capture some Daesh members who were involved with Iranian netowrks speciliazed in weapons smuggling.
The operation triggered clashes between both sides, as the members were hiding among local civilians. As a result, nine wanted persons were arrested while the coalition stressed that they will continue to chase Daesh members until the last man.
A child was killed during the operation because the organization used civilians as human shields, in addition to the injury of an elderly. The operation was stopped right after the death of the child and the injury of the elderly.
