Last night, Daesh cells launched attacks targeting SDF military positions in Al-Shuhail in the Deir Ezzor countryside, triggering clashes between the two sides.
In the meantime, the coalition forces fired flares in the sky of the town in connection with helicopters intense activity, while the SDF, with the support of the international coalition forces, launched a campaign of raids that included the villages of “Al-Tahat, Ma’izila, Saad, and Al-Safia” north of Deir Ezzor, with the aim of searching for escapees from Ghuweran prison against the background of the recent events. This led to the arrest of a number of people.
