The members of the Fourth Division sold scrap located in the Salhiya warehouse north of Deir Ezzor to those wishing to buy from welding shop owners, where a kilo of scrap iron is sold for 1,500 SYP, in addition to selling them the mechanical parts furnished by repair shops, especially spare parts for agricultural engines, as the price of the “Andrea” engine reaches up to 400 thousand SYP.
Members of the Fourth Division collect scrap from all cities and villages in Deir Ezzor countryside by street vendors, while they obtain them from areas controlled by the “SDF” through dealers and agents.
The Fourth Division owns huge warehouses distributed over Salhiya, Shula, Al-Mayadin, and Al-Tib neighborhood in Al-Joura neighborhood. The warehouses are full of stolen car spare parts and all kinds of metals such as iron, copper, aluminum, electric wires and metal electric poles. The employees collect them weekly and transfer the loads to the iron smelting and rolling mill in the Adra industrial area in Damascus.
