Today, it was officially announced that the Asud Sharqiya militia, known as the Shaitat Brigade which is affiliated with the NDF in Deir Ezzor, dissolved after its fighters underwent a settlement status process in the sports salon in Deir Ezzor. They merged them with the 17th Infantry Division in the city. Dozens of cars, loaded with fighters, were seen heading towards the 17th Division positions.
The Shaitat Brigade suffered dozens of deaths and injuries in a recent Daesh attack on the Madhol road in the Massrab town west of Deir Ezzor.
It is scheduled that the brigade fighters will undergo training sesions in the Talai camp for 45 days.
