The director of Deir Ezzor endowments, “Abdul-Hadi Al-Abush” recently managed to persuade about fifty young men to enter into the mantle of settlements with Assad’s forces, while inaugurating the Great Mosque in Al-Bukamal.
During his speech on the occasion, he thanked Bashar al-Assad, calling for national reconciliation and a return to what he called “the bosom of the homeland”, trying to win over young men, coinciding with the daily fleeing of hundreds of young men from Assad’s control areas.
-Assad forces recruit clerics, tribal sheiks, and dignitaries to achieve their goals in making the largest number of settlements for the governorate’s youth, while dozens of young men resort to traveling outside the country to escape these reconciliations, which often lead to their recruitment into the ranks of Assad’s militias or being pushed to the fierce fronts, which they reject.
