Several areas in the city of Al-Mayadin witnessed a noticeable increase in the number of fuel sellers in the black market, due to fact that the Fourth Division’s recruitment of a large number of civilians inside the city and on the public road, to market the fuel obtained by the Fourth Division.
The Fourth Division obtained a large amount of fuel by confiscating it at the checkpoints, as the price of a liter of diesel reached 2,500, and a liter of gasoline reached 3,500 Syrian Lira.
