Exclusive – Deir Ezzor 24 Clashes with machine guns took place between a number of members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia and the National Defense, in the city of Al-Ashara, east of Deir Ezzor, which resulted in a number of deaths and injuries on both sides.
These clashes come as members of the Revolutionary Guards militia descending to the crossings between Al-Mayadin and Al-Ashara, with the aim of establishing checkpoints for them, while the Defense Militia members control these crossings, and the National Defense Militia has sent reinforcements from the command headquarters in Al-Mayadin towards the area of clashes, in an incident that is constantly repeated between the two sides.
The National Defense Militias, the Revolutionary Guards, and the Fourth Division are trying to control the crossings, while the Russian forces are preventing them from approaching the crossings between Al-Mayadin and Al-Asharah, while they are trying to exploit any resources that generate money for them by blackmailing citizens.
