Well-informed sources told Deir Ezzor 24 Network that the Assad regime’s Red Crescent suspended hundreds of familial cards of people in the northern Deir Ezzor countryside controlled by the Assad regime and its militias. The Red Crescent suspended the cards, claiming that they bear the seal of al-Yamamah Organization, as the latter operates in the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) controlled areas.
Familial cards contribute to alleviating the burdens of civilians, whereby they are given some aid that covers a small part of their needs, in light of the outrageous high prices that affected all aspects of life, unemployment and lack of job opportunities, and civilians’ inability to provide their needs, and the concerned authorities deliberately neglected the deteriorating living conditions that prevailed in the Assad regime controlled areas.
