Iranian militias deployed large forces in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside with the aim of establishing posts near the 10th Regiment militias’ posts.
According to sources, there are many militias working to establish their presence in the area, including Liwaa Al Al-Bayt, Fatimiyeon, Zainabiyon, Sayyid al-Shuhada and Al-Hawashim 515.
Iranian militias occupy large areas of Deir Ezzor, as Fatimiyeon and Zainabiyon militias spread in al-Mayadeen and al-Bukamal, and al-Nujabaa militia spreads on the western bank of the Euphrates River.
Through these movements, the Iranian militias are trying to prevent the attacks of Daesh, that continuously targets Iranian militias’ posts and penetrates the Iraqi-Syrian border.
