On Sunday, January 7, 2021 ,the Iranian Cultural Center announced it will open the central park in the city of Deir Ezzor on February 12, 2021.
The center covered the costs of rehabilitating the park under the supervision of Iranian engineers like the engineer Jawad who earlier supervised rehabilitating the Karameesh park in the Hawejet Saqur in Deir Ezzor.
The Iranian Cultural center conducted rehabilitation projects, including rehabilitating public facilities in Deir Ezzor like mosques and parks by facilitation of the Assad regime.
