A source told Deir Ezzor 24 that more than 10 members of Liwaa al-Quds militia and the 17th Division of Assad’s forces were killed and others injured in an explosion that targeted a joint post near the Al-Maleha area in the southern Deir Ezzor badiyah.

Ambulances were heard in all over Deir Ezzor city heading towards the site, and a few minutes later the Russian aircraft carried out raids on several locations in Deir Ezzor badiyah, Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.

The source suggested that the explosion, which hit Liwaa al-Quds militia and the 17th Division, was caused by a car bomb.

Today, the Iranian al-Baqir militia lost 12 of its members during an attack by Daesh militants on Athraya-al-Sukhna axis.

These attacks coincide with intensive campaigns by Assad’s forces and Iranian and Russian militias on Deir Ezzor badiyah up to the Palmyra badiyah to pursue Daesh cells.
