On Monday dawn, two unknown shooters on a motorcycle opened fire at the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC)’ militia’ “Farmix” military post in the al-Intilaq al-Qadeem street in the city of Deir Ezzor. The shooting injured two IRGC’ fighters.
Iranian militias raised the alert unprecedentedly in the area following the shooting.
This attack is the first of its kind in Deir Ezzor, which stirs questions about the attackers’’ identity.
