The Assad-regime’s republican guards raided several civilian homes yesterday in Al-Harabesh district of Deir Ezzzor and arrested several civilians to draw them into the regime compulsory military services.
Several civilians whose ages fall within the range of 18-52 years old were arrested in yesterday’s forced conscription raids. Among the arrested are students.
The Syrian Red Crescent has been distributing food baskets to civilians living in the regime-held areas of Deir Ezzor since Saturday. On Saturday food aid were distributed in the areas of Cinema Fuad, on Sunday in Al-Rushdiya district and on Monday in Al-Kanmat. The baskets contain 1 kg of thyme, 1 liter of olive oil, 1 kg of dates, 2 kg of spaghetti, 6 cans of beans, 5 cans of tuna, 2 cans of a variety of vegetables.
It should be noted that Russian warplanes have recently dropped leaflets over the city of Albu Kamal near the Iraqi border, warning civilians of approaching ISIS headquarters ahead of a new wave of airstrikes.
