The National Defense Militia (NDF) in Deir Ezzor countryside set up five new guard posts between Al-Duweir and Al-Jalaa towns in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside (west of the Euphrates), Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.
According to a source, the purpose of establishing the new points is to support the forces deployed in the area against Daesh repeated attacks.
The area between Al-Duweir and Al-Jalaa towns is very close to Deir Ezzor badiyah, which Daesh cells have taken as a springboard for their attacks against the area.
