A displaced family from Deir Ezzor spoke yesterday to the director of WFP, the world’s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger, about the deplorable conditions civilians in Assad-regime held territory of Deir Ezzor have been facing due to the siege, which has been imposed by Daesh for almost two years.
Yesterday, WFP official account on Twitter published a collection of pictures showing some simple items belonging to the family, which were the only things they could take with them after fleeing the siege.
Daesh continues to impose its siege on all areas under Assad-regime control in Deir Ezzor, turning life for civilians in the besieged areas into hell, mainly because it is difficult to flee from them.
