A source told Deir Ezzor 24 Network that on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, Daesh attacked the perimeter of the Ein al-Ali ali Shrine in the al-Quriya badiya. Deash killed and injured Iranian militias’ fighters.
The source added that the attack was intense, so the Assad forces’ warplanes intervened to repel it.
The source noted that the visitors of the shrine escaped to the city of al-Mayadeen until the attack ended.
Daesh launches frequent attacks on Iranian militias’ and Assad forces’ outposts in the Deir Ezzor badiya despite military operations against the organization in the area.
