At least 5 civilians were killed, many others were wounded, after aircraft bombed yesterday the city of Mayadin and Shumaytiya town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
A D24 correspondent said that ‘4 people, 3of whom were members of the same family, died as a result of airstrikes on the city of Mayadin yesterday.’
He added, ‘ A child was killed, many were wounded, due to the air raids that targeted the town of Shumaytiyah west of Deir Ezzor yesterday.
2 children were killed yesterday in the besieged Harabish neighborhood after Daesh targeted it with mortar shells.
Last month, regime, Russian and US aircraft intensified their airstrikes on villages and neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor city, which led to harrowing massacres that claimed the lives of many civilians.
