The DEMC and the SDF gained control over new villages in the countryside of Deir Ezzor following heavy clashes today. They captured the village of Al Sabha in the eastern countryside and the village of Hajnah in the northern countryside where clashes are ongoing on the outskirts of the Sajr village.
The international coalition is carrying out intense airstrikes against the Bassirah city in the northeastern countryside as the SDF are trying to storm it.
There are now two ongoing military operations in the province of Deir Ezzor, one of which is led by the Assad regime, who is backed by Russian, on the western banks of the Euphrates River (Deir Ezzor city and Al Bukamal), and the other one is led by the SDF being backed by the coalition on the eastern banks of the river.
