The coalition aircraft carried out a massacre yesterday after striking Daesh-held town of Al Shaafah, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The strikes hit the school of the town which was housing displaced families, leading to the death of more than ten civilians, including women and children, in addition to the wounding of dozens of others. The targeted school and four houses near it were also destroyed. This is the second massacre the coalition has carried out this week.
It should be pointed out that that coalition carried out a horrific massacre on Monday when they struck the town of Al Bahrah in eastern Deir Ezzor, causing 15 civilian casualties. Many massacres have been committed against civilians residing in the towns of Hajin and Al Shaafah, the most horrific of which was the massacre of Hajin hospital a month ago in which most victims were women and children.
