Retired Colonel Bashar Shafiq from Latikiyah province has died in mysterious circumstances in Deir Ezzor province, bearing in mind that he has worked as a translator for the Russian forces stationed in the areas. In the mourning statement, which was released by the regime, it was mentioned that he was 58 years old and that he died while serving the duty of his nation on Thursday. In addition, it says that he was married to a Russian girl, whose relatives are Makssim On Kovski, Ontwan Lokashov and Max Oktabov.
In other news, SDF, who were backed by the coalition aircraft, captured on Friday the town of Al Bahra in eastern Deir Ezzor after weeks of clashes against Daesh. Four Daesh fighters were killed in a coalition strikes that targeted their positions nearby the oil company in Al Bukhater town, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. Two SDF fighters were killed due to the explosion of a landmine in the town of Al Bahra.
