The administration of the Imam Al-Shatiby Institute in Granij town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside held a religious ceremony celebrating the graduation of fourteen people who learned the entire Koran by heart.
The ceremony, which was held at the Grand Mosque of the town, was attended by a large crowd of people of the town and the surrounding areas.
The newly-established Imam Al-Shatiby Institute in Granij town has about 1,000 students studying in groups in the town’s mosques.
It is noteworthy that the Imam Al-Shatiby Institute in Granij was established by a group of the town’s people shortly after Daesh’s departure from the area.
