Today, Saturday 15-6-2019, Five prisoners who were accused of belonging to Daesh escaped from a prison of the national defense in Al-Mayadeen city, according to D24 correspondent.
Following the escape incident, the area witnessed a state of alert by the national defence militia who carried out raids and searches in the city.
D24 network correspondent said that the raids targeted al-Mahareem and al-Sinaa (industrial) neighborhoods in Al-Mayadeen city, and they affected all the houses in the two neighborhoods, the militia also erected road blocks at the entrances of the neighbourhoods in search of the wanted men.
