Sources informed Deir Ezzor 24 network that the Assad’s forces in Deir Ezzor have sent military reinforcements to the line of contact with the SDF.
According to the sources, most of the reinforcements reached the crossing areas in Al-Salhiyah, Marrat and Khasham villages.
The sources added that the reinforcements were sent from all Deir Ezzor areas controlled by the Assad’s forces, mostly from Al-Mayadeen city.
These moves of the Assad’s forces followed the SDF military command’s decision to close the crossings with the Assad’s forces two days ago.
It is noteworthy that this morning, the Assad’s forces targeted two military positions of the SDF in Deir Ezzor, in an apparent escalation against the SDF, which created a state of tension in the the region.
