Dozens of Assad’s forces elements were killed and wounded in Sbikhan city in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside as a result of an armed attack by unknown assailants on a bus carrying elements heading to Al-Bukamal city, local sources told Deir Ezzor 24 network.
In the same context, local sources told Deir Ezzor 24 network that this morning, Daesh took control of Deir Ezzor-Palmyra road and blocked it for a short time, which caused a state of alert among Assad’s forces in Deir Ezzor, and a large military force, accompanied by intensive overflight of the Russian and Syrian warplanes, were sent to the area.
It is noteworthy that Daesh has been heavily active in Deir Ezzor areas that are under the control of Assad’s forces and the Russian and Iranian militias, especially in the badiyah.
